In honor of World Bicycle Day, Selle Royal Group took part in Pedal to Empower: a global initiative which marries perfectly with our company philosophy.

Promoted by World Bicycle Relief, the initiative consists of a collective cycling fundraiser mobilizing 4,000 women and girls from developing countries and providing them with equipment (in this case, bicycles) to help them overcome socio-cultural barriers such as the inability to access schools and healthcare services.

From 3rd to 5th June 2022, almost fifty company stakeholders from around the world cycled a total of 6,165.85km (3,831 miles), adding to the global goal of 1 million kilometers. In participating, Selle Royal Group contributed to the purchasing and donation of 34 bicycles.
