Sustainable Corporate Mobility
In recent years, Selle Royal Group has initiated several projects aimed at supporting employees’ mobility, encouraging carpooling, and fostering a culture of sustainable micro-mobility.
First, we analyzed our people’s travel habits and needs, mapping routes and preferences. Then we worked on a series of proposals that could offer alternatives to motorized vehicles, especially for home-work commutes.
Over the past year, we have seen a growth in behavior such as commuting by bike or carpooling among colleagues. As a result, our corporate mobility has become more efficient and sustainable, with an estimated 20 percent reduction in CO2 emissions.
As for us, we have begun to convert our fleet of cars to electric vehicles, encouraging the adoption of driving behavior that favor lower emissions and consumption.
In the future, our goal is to increase the culture of sustainable mobility through training, services, and agreements that encourage two-wheeled commuting, route sharing or the choice of more efficient vehicles, thus helping to reduce our impact on the environment.
